Confirmed Spurs XI vs Everton | image

By The Boy -

BLIND FIGHT both of these sides are looking to qualify for European football, despite neither team being fit to mount a credible campaign in even the weakest of the offered tournament.

FORM again, neither side is in great form, and needless to say, the big issue for us has been holding onto advantages, and our total of 18 points dropped from winning positions is second only to Brighton.

A POSITIVE for away boss José Mourinho is that he travels to Goodison Park knowing Tottenham are unbeaten in their previous eight competitive away visits here (W3, D5 – 90 mins only), and even scored 3+ goals – and netted in both halves – in three of their most recent four!

Lose today and even Villa could leapfrog with their game in hand….if Gooners find form a bottom half finish would be a real possibility.

Im disappointed Moura isn’t starting as you cant help but think he could of been in there for Sissoko based on the rest of the team…at least Toby is back…if Sanchez was in for him I doubt I’d bother watching it…. I figure Mourinho has 3 games to keep his job.

He HAS to start Dier….has he got photos of Jose involved in lewd or nefarious practices? Speaking of which, why can’t people play football at 3pm just cos the Earl of Merioneth is having a funeral?? Ridickylous

So real lack of trust in our fullbacks to defend, so sissy and PEH to drop in to full back position when they go forward.
toby and Eric in a 3 might be the only way to get some sort of performance from them.

I feel you. the apathy has left the pitch and is entering the fanbase.

Another “grand old team to play for” . Always my favourite away game. Goodison so reminiscent of WHL and great positioning for banter with the sensible half of Liverpool. Even the squalid away section “concourse” has a certain shabby chic charm. And we always seem to get a result. COYS

Dier & Sissoko….. Sorry, it’s a no from me. I’m done. Happy to debate Levy & ENIC. Anything else, leave me out.

I will be happy with no Europe for 1 year .

Guess he is already playing for a draw. Mourinho is perhaps banking on Levy paying him off or backing him and so it appears he is doing his utmost to car crash us out of Europe next season.

We played a back 3 away at Sheffield and it worked out pretty well, let’s hope for a repeat against a much superior team.

Like the move to a back 3, not sure why we need Sissoko with a back 3 though, hope he plays him more offensively than usual.
