Confirmed: Stadium Bans On The Way After Champions League Breach

By The Boy -

The presence of Red Star Belgrade fans – who were supposed to be on a UEFA ban for racist chanting – at Tuesday night’s game upset a good many Spurs fans.

An unconfirmed number of illegal supporters (certainly several hundred or them) managed to not only get tickets, but locate themselves within just a few feet of home fans.

The worst example was in the North Stand, but there have been reports from various areas of the stadium.

Confusion has reigned supreme, of course, and the suggestion that tickets went on general sale due to a muted response at the box office are still circulating. This is incorrect.

As per this blog on Wednesday morning, the tickets were not put on general sale at all.

Sales to members and season ticket holders were so poor, THFC decided to allow these fans to also purchase ‘guest tickets’, which kept the club on the right side of the UEFA regulations, but …these tickets were then obviously syphoned off to away fans.

THFC lost control of their product.

Today, the THST have confirmed all of this with the club, and a storm is a coming.

The Club is investigating the source of those tickets and has stated that Season Ticket holders and One Hotspur members traced as those sources will face the strongest possible sanctions.

Quite how the club plan to work out who sold their tickets on – and to ban fans – is beyond me.

Helps Liverpool seem to get a lot of calls in their favour… Even in other games. Villa should be down to 10 men that was almost a rugby tackle and grealish already on yellow.

Jamie Barry is such a loathsome twonk. Just watched the highlights of last night and even at 9-0 he’s running up to the few Saints fans that were left and doing the shhhhhh thing and going mad, did it every goal, goading the fans. They were running riot, nobody else did it. He’s knows what he is and so do alot of people. #fairytale my arse.

Just watching Christian Fouks on soccer AM

He said deluded Brendan told the players at half time to be relentless in last nights game.

I just don’t see or think Poch would say the same to our lot. Difference in having a winning mentality and not

“Yes facilities and stadium is better to be invested in” …says a man who supports a team that was behind us 2 years ago an now are waaaaay ahead and winning the CL And PL titles……by concentrating spending on key players. That’s hilarious.
There’s a difference between…a MASSIVE difference between, a manager making off the pitch changes and a parasitical owner knocking down a 100 plus year old stadium and building an American football bowl in its place and then prioritising everything but the football until the team suffers. There’s no jam tommorow mate. I expect he was suppressing laughter when answering that question.
