‘Come on’ – Alan Shearer tells Harry Kane what to do after Bayern Munich news

By Mehdi Gokal -

Premier League legend Alan Shearer has jokingly urged Harry Kane to seize the opportunity and make his much-anticipated transfer to Bayern Munich.

As current reports suggest, Kane is presently at the airport, awaiting the club’s signal before jetting off to Germany to finalize his move.

After extensive negotiations, both clubs have finally agreed on a £100 million deal for the English striker.

Despite this breakthrough, the transfer saga has taken unexpected turns. Initially, there were reports from Sky Sports indicating that Kane is likely stay at Tottenham for another season, despite the agreed-upon fee.

Subsequently, news surfaced that another club had emerged as favorites to sign Kane on a free transfer next season, offering him a better contract.

However, the following morning brought news that Kane and Bayern had successfully hashed out all personal terms, preparing for the medical checkup, until last-minute changes requested by Tottenham’s chairman, Daniel Levy, unexpectedly halted the proceedings.

According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, the sudden delay was caused by Tottenham’s desire to revise the deal at the eleventh hour.

Given that Kane is just 47 goals away from Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record of 260, it’s understandable that the former Newcastle striker would nudge Kane to embrace this transition.

Shearer’s cheeky tweet featured an image of himself dressed as a pilot beside a private jet, accompanied by the words “Come on Harry, It’s time to go.”

With Kane’s move to Bayern Munich likely to transpire, Shearer’s longstanding record will remain intact, safeguarding his place atop the Premier League’s all-time goalscorer chart.

The light-hearted encouragement from Shearer adds a lighter touch to the ongoing transfer drama.
