Club ready to sell 20-goal Tottenham target this summer, London rivals keen as well

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri this summer.

The 27-year-old Moroccan international has had an impressive season in La Liga with Sevilla and he scored 20 goals in all competitions. The towering striker picked up three assists along the way as well.

According to a report via Sport Witness, the Spanish outfit are looking to rebuild their squad this summer and they need funds to bring in their own signings. They are now ready to sanction the departure of the Moroccan striker to raise funds.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with an official proposal to sign the player. The fact that Sevilla are ready to sell the player will come as a major boost for the North London outfit. However, any transfer is unlikely to be straightforward. West Ham United are keen on signing the player as well, and they will compete with Tottenham. The Hammers need a striker who can lead the line for them and score goals consistently. The Moroccan would be an upgrade on Michail Antonio and Danny Ings.

On the other hand, Tottenham have missed a clinical presence since the departure of Harry Kane and they will have to fill that void this summer. Son Heung-min did a reasonably good job leading the line for Tottenham last season, but they need a natural striker.

The 27-year-old Sevilla star could lead the line for them next season and his ability to hold up the ball and bring others into the play could prove to be beneficial. He is also quite adept in the air and his presence would add a new dimension to their attack.
