Club would rather sell player to Tottenham than Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur are actively seeking a centre-forward ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Among the potential striker linked with Spurs this summer is Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Lilywhites are not alone in their pursuit of the Moroccan international, as Manchester United also have also shown interest in the player.

However, according to the Spanish outlet El Mira, Sevilla would prefer to sell En-Nesyri to Tottenham rather than the Red Devils, primarily due to their interest in Spurs’ Bryan Gil.

The 27-year-old striker has entered the final year of his contract in Spain and might be on the move this summer.

En-Nesyri had an impressive campaign last season, scoring 20 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Sevilla, willing to sell En-Nesyri for the right price, have expressed a preference for Tottenham because of their willingness to secure their former player, Bryan Gil.

This scenario has opened a potential opportunity for Spurs to engage in a swap deal involving Gil, benefiting both clubs in their transfer pursuits.
