Tottenham Hotspur signed Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski on an 18-month loan deal back in January 2022.
The 22-year-old winger struggled for regular game time at Juventus and the move to the Premier League club has helped Kulusevski to rediscover himself.
The young winger has established himself as a key player for Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, and the London club will look to sign him permanently when his loan deal expires.
A report from Calciomercato claims that Juventus are now confident of pocketing a transfer fee of around €35 million for the highly talented winger. On top of that, Spurs have already paid a loan fee of €10m for the player.
Therefore, the Italian club will be able to recoup a total fee of around €45 million for the young Swedish international. It is clear that the 22-year-old’s future lies away from the Italian club and therefore managing to pocket €45 million for him seems like an impressive bit of business from the Italian club.
The player had five goals and eight assists in just 18 Premier League appearances for Tottenham last season and he has been an important player for Conte this season as well.
Although it’s a profitable transfer for Juventus, Tottenham are likely to benefit in the long run as well.
The 22-year-old has shown that he has the quality to justify the reported €45 million outlay and Kulusevski could end up proving to be a bargain for the Londoners in the near future.
