Clinton N’Jie Strikes Again: First The Accidental Sex Tape & Now He’s Forgotten Who He Plays For

Clinton N’Jie (formerly Clinton Cards of this parish) has hit another daft home run which is likely to amuse. The hapless footballer who manages to scrape together 8 appearances for Spurs in the two years he was on our books.

The Cameroonian had an undistinguished spell at Spurs that ran from 2015 to 2017, never making a starting XI, and never scoring a goal in any competition. Indeed, his most notable moments as a professional footballer have been since he left North London.

First, there was the leaked sex tape, in which he claimed that whilst drunk, he was using his phone to “read the news” when he inadvertently broadcast a short video of himself and a young lady.

Believe it or not, the former Lilywhite may have trumped his own daftness in a recent interview with Cameroonian radio station, Radio Sport Info.

“I have a 3-year contract. Then we are in football where it can go very quickly. It is true that I have received proposals from everywhere and even from England. However, I am good at CSKA and I am focused on finishing my season. I hope I can give a little more in football here”

That all sounds asinine enough, but there’s one small problem. Clinton N’Jie currently plays for CSKA’s rivals, Dynamo Moscow.

N’Jie is now 26 and the world is still waiting for him to unleash his latent potential.

Pretty sure he wasn’t scouting him, but I get your point.

Another example of our much loved chairman’s brilliance in the art of wheeler dealing in the transfer market.
