‘Class is permanent’ – Gary Lineker reacts as Spurs star returns to his ‘brilliant best’

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a 6-2 win over Leicester City in the Premier League earlier today.

Youri Tielemans opened the scoring for the away side from the penalty spot on the sixth minute but Spurs managed to get back on level times just two minutes later through Harry Kane.

The home side took the lead through Eric Dier on the 21st minute but they were pegged on the 41st minute through James Maddison.

With both sides heading into the break at 2-2, both sets of fans would have expected a closely contested affair in the second half as well.

However, Tottenham turned on the style in the second half to demolish a feeble Leicester defence.

Rodrigo Bentancur put the home side back in front with a second-half goal and late substitute Son Heung-Min grabbed an exceptional hat-trick to secure the three points for Antonio Conte’s side.

The 30-year-old South Korean international has had dismal start to the league campaign and the hat-trick will have done him a world of good.

Son is a world-class player and his return to form will come as a major boost for the fans and the dressing room.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker has reacted to the South Korean’s performance on social media.
