Behind most great players is a lot of dedicated parenting, nice lad to mention his Dad’s dedication to him. Been brought up right by the sounds of it, a credit from what we’ve seen of him. Very impressed by his two performances, one of our own too. Hackney, sort of local I suppose!
Eriksen was a punt signing, just like all the 8 players that Levy and Baldini bought with the Bale money.
He’s never been that well suited to the English game and as a result has never been consistently good throughout a whole season. Never really stepped up in big games and generally goes into a huge dip in form at crucial moments of the season.

I talk about the owners of my club, not the club. You really struggle to understand that concept and start being rude.

Look at it this way — 8M buys will buy Spurs nothing in return these days, maybe someone fresh out of an academy with all the work to do on him. For all the chairman’s wrangling I’m more hopeful. We have one new player when all we heard was there’d be no incoming in January. I think more might follow, I know injuries played a part but it’s an extra player when Kane and Sissoko return. I think Mourinho is a very clever man and has more chance of loosening the purse strings than Poch ever had.

Nothing much has changed, Sissoko was a loan, £6 million a year or the whole transfer fee to Newcastle if he was sold. Lo Celso bought while Poch was boss is a loan. Just more chance to save on the final transfer fee. Already it’s said he is trying to get a discount on the Lo Celso transfer. What it all means is simple, more money for ENIC and that is the name of the the game.
