Chelsea turning their attention towards Tottenham man as they struggle to land their main target

Chelsea could turn their attention towards signing Harry Kane this summer as they struggle to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

The Blues need a new striker in this transfer window and they have made Haaland their top target.

However, Sky Sports says Borussia Dortmund is adamant that he will not be sold.

The Germans want to keep him on for another season at least after his recent bright campaign.

They would only sell him for around £150m this summer and that fee is too much for the Blues to spend on him.

The report says their alternative to him is Romelu Lukaku or Kane.

Kane has asked Tottenham to sell him this summer after another trophyless season following the end of the 2020/2021 campaign.

He is now keen to join a club where he can win trophies and the prospect of achieving that is probably better at Chelsea.

The report, however, casts doubt over the move happening by insisting that it remains an issue for Tottenham to sell one of their players to Chelsea with their London rivalry a big deal for both clubs.

Kane led Spurs to the final of the Carabao Cup last season and enjoyed a hugely successful campaign on an individual level.
