Chelsea looking to sneak in and snatch player that Tottenham want

Corriere Dello Sport via Sport Witness claims that Chelsea is interested in a move for Tottenham target, Marcelo Brozovic.

The midfielder has emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham in this transfer window as Jose Mourinho bolsters his options (TeamTalk).

The Special One expects to challenge for trophies in the new season and the club have been backing him.

They have landed Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Hart and Matt Doherty over the past few weeks.

They will look to offload some players too and more stars are expected to still join them, Brozovic is one of those names that have been linked with a move to the North London side.

However, the report is claiming that Spurs might miss out on him as Chelsea also wants to sign him.

Inter Milan is reportedly prepared to sanction a move for him as they look to raise funds for their own targets like N’Golo Kante.

They have hopes that a bid of around 50 million euros will tempt the Blues to sell Kante and they have decided to make Brozovic available for transfer so that they can raise the funds.

Bayern Munich is another team that has been credited with an interest in the midfielder as well.

Considering the competition, Brozovic may be one Tottenham target that Mourinho is unlikely to land.
