Can Spurs Players Tip The Balance Against Spain Tonight?

By The Boy -

With 6 World cup goals to his name, a Golden Boots Ward under his arm and a pair of bespoke Nike gold-in-colour boots on his feet. Harry Kane has to be the headline act for England fans this evening.

Kane returned from Russia, typically underwhelmed with his modest haul. As we’ve discussed previously, Harry’s biggest motivator is his own appetite to be the very best at what he does – this apparently extends to golf and playing online games.

In simple terms, the 25 year old delights from routinely winning.

One depressing issue Kane faced at Russia 2018 was lack of service from his team mates, frustrations over the wasteful finishing of Raheem Sterling and Jessie Lingard were aired at length online by Three Lions fans.

Serge Ramos’ heavy challenge that wiped out Liverpool’s Mo Salah in the Champions League final is apparently still a contentious issue, so if you are heading to the national stadium to be part of what’s expected to be a capacity crowd – fingers crossed you aren’t surrounded by Scousers who whine and boo all game long.

Other Tottenham boys involved will be Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Kieran Trippier.

Given Tripps’ recently discovered dead ball expertise, it would great to see him work his magic again.

For Rose, this is yet another opportunity for him to make a case that he is still relevant at any level.

As for Dele, he will undoubtedly be waiting to swoop from his second striker role…
