Bundesliga duo weighing up a move for Tottenham youngster

Bundesliga sides, Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim are interested in loaning Tottenham full-back Ryan Sessegnon this summer, Sky Sports claims.

The 20-year-old will struggle to get into the Tottenham team this season after they landed several players in this transfer window.

He has struggled to impress Jose Mourinho and he played just 12 times for the Lilywhites last season.

He will face even more competition for places this season and that has seen teams show interest in taking him on loan.

Brighton and Celtic are two British teams that have been looking to land him but the report claims that they may have dropped out of the running for him.

The arrival of Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon means that the England Under21 star will almost certainly not play many games for the club if he stays.

Despite Bale yet to play, Sessegnon has missed all of Tottenham’s games this season and it doesn’t feel like it will get better for him.

Tottenham have hopes that he will be a star in the future and that is why they splashed the cash to land him last summer.

However, remaining at the club and not playing will be one way to ensure that his career doesn’t develop any further than it has done so far.

Quite a few youngsters from the Premier League have done rather well in Germany and Sessegnon could do a lot worse than sign for either Hoffenheim or Hertha Berlin.
