Brilliant news for Tottenham as hot prospect signs a new contract

The wait is over as highly rated, Japhet Tanganga has just signed a new long-term deal with Tottenham, as confirmed by the club.

The Englishman was in the final year of his previous deal with the club and he had been negotiating over a new one.

Other teams were monitoring his situation and there was the risk of some other Premier League side, poaching him.

But the club has just announced that he has signed a new long-term deal that will keep him with Jose Mourinho’s side until 2025.

The Portuguese manager gave Tanganga his first start in the Premier League for the club against Liverpool earlier in the year.

The defender impressed in that game, helping the team stop Liverpool’s attack, although they eventually lost the game 1-0.

He has made 11 appearances for the first team so far and he might have made more, but for an injury that struck and kept him out of the games since the restart.

This is the perfect way to enter the summer break and fans will hope that the club will make even more signings in the transfer market this summer.

Tanganga joins the likes of Oliver Skipp and Eric Dier to sign new deals in the last few days.
