Breaking: Ten Hag Signs New Deal With Ajax| video

By The Boy -

These daily Tottenham briefings are good fun and as you can see from yesterday’s the common sense is worth your consideration.

The Sun (amongst many) have just announced that the Ajax manager has agreed on an extension with Ajax – which might suggest that Kicker were wrong. As I suggested in yesterday’s briefing.

It certainly feels as if Spurs’ new manager is a situation unlikely to fixed anytime soon. Today’s press is littered with implausible nonsense about Brendan Rodgers. What larks.

Big Sam is underrated, the one thing he does is to get players playing, I think he’d do well here under the circumstances.

Have another look, I think he has potential, plays attractive style but with average strikers, he could suit us and the Dunk, White connection is a good one.

Both would sell their own grandma’s soul to the devil for 5 minutes in the spotlight

Maybe even get Dim Sherwood or Harry Redknapp….My money is on the former. 🙂

We’re going to end up shopping in the freebie aisle soon enough. It’ll be Howe, Allergri or Benitez at this rate.

I actually feel this has nothing to do with Spurs and he was always staying at Ajax (Ajax managers don’t do well away from Ajax in the last decade). You got Alisdair Gold talking technicalities in tweets to followers on Twitter, so it wasn’t happening just media manipulation. Internally i think they would have know Ten Hag was staying put. There are better candidates out there more suited to where Spurs are and what we’ve got to do.

There’s queen song that springs to mind…
‘Another one bites the dust’

Let’s be clear, no manager with any sense of self worth and a career to think about is coming to Spurs. We’ll get a washed up has been or someone young and foolish who been been badly advised.

Obviously Ten Hag realised it was too much of a poison chalice I’m presuming his meeting with Levy will not take place now if ever that was true, Shame as I thought he could have done a good job with Spurs, he worked with Peo back in Germany Papers still going on about Rodgers…..,Levy hoping he can throw money at the manager and it will fix the problems these managers want control they want backing they want money and time.

We have certainly regressed in many ways recently & you have to ask why? The football hasn’t been up to much but that was expected with Jose. Off the pitch, our reputation has dipped somewhat & that is reflected in (maybe) 2 of our targets declining our kind offers. How much we actually wanted them could be discussed for hours without resolution. So what now? BR is still being touted, despite allegedly saying he’s not interested & quite honestly, Leicester are playing good football, possibly in the CL & are a ‘team’ which is more than can be said about us. I can’t help thinking Scott Parker will with us, unless their is an international manager quitting after the Euros who Desperate Dan has his eye on.

“The cat is well and truly out of the bag” – never a truer word spoken. This is the beginning of the end. We’ll have Big Sam, or good old Woy in charge next season; and no offence to those battle hardened, fine, upstanding gents, but if that is truly the level to which we have sunk, the only long term result the ENIC master plan was ever going to yield, can’t be far away. To be honest, I’d even welcome the last remaining chuckle brother, if it resulted in ENIC doing one
