The appointment of Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur has caused such a disturbance within my own psyche that the angst towards people I have been notably angry towards (Hi Donna, hey you, Daniel) has subsided to trace element levels, of garden variety resentment.
All I ever wanted was a believable winning mentality embedded into this once great club. This is what Jose Mourinho brings in spades. Complete and total authenticity.
When Mauricio Pochettino said “I think we are winners but winners sometime lose…” back in 2018, my heart sank.
Ted Lasso, anyone?
When Jose speaks, some may not care for the tone, but what ought he to do? Play it like he is grateful to be the new Spurs manager?
Mourinho earned this position.

Mourinho: “I am humble”
— Sam Cunningham (@samcunningham) November 21, 2019
Mourinho five minutes later asked if he thinks losing the Champions League final affected the Spurs squad: “I don’t know because I never lost a Champions League final”
🤣
Never mind!
whats that?
Do you know what the point is you’re so obviously missing?
in all honesty, I am really really torn as I honestly don’t like the guy and hate for him to win, but now our destiny is entwined…one could argue Amazon couldn’t have written a better script getting to hard nosed rivals that have hated each other in the past to have to succeed together.
Its like People are looking for ways not to enjoy the ride and be positive. I don’t get it. Fools
I hope your right…but you are not basing that on history. Maybe he has changed. You watch, we will get the new humble Jose, the nice one that realises winning isn’t everything and wants to work under a chairman that likes to give up and coming players a platform to progress.
I just want him to win. Don’t care about the rest. Win well? Let’s just win for now though I have a funny feeling he’s gonna shock people with some lovely football.
I don’t want him to be humble…I want him to be him…but just be polite about it.
