Big Name Target Dropped From Pre Season Tour

By The Boy -

A potentially interesting Tweet, this.

Dani Ceballos isn’t in the Real Madrid preseason tour announced late yesterday evening.

Now, this could simply be because the 22-year-old has already featured for his sides’ under 23 games, however this squad sheet has a number of omissions and inclusions which are likely to cause debate. Gareth Bale is thought to be a dead man walking in Spain, yet the Welshman is picked.

The Mirror, amongst many, carried the story that Dani wasn’t interested in playing for Zinedine Zidane, earlier this month.

Los Blanco’s first game is against our old friends Arsenal on July 24th.

Ceballos to Spurs would undoubtedly be a good thing – but not if it were only to be a loan deal as suggested by EPSN.

Well according to the Belgian journalist Krstoff Teurerr .who is decent on his sources, Toby and his family are settled at Tottenham and in London and don`t necessarily want to leave. So take that as you may. I personally have always thought by his actions that he will leave on a free and get that last big contract somewhere before he finishes off in Ajax.

Breaking from Perth. A man in his 50’s, part of Man Utd’s coaching staff has been admitted to hospital suffering a suspected overdose (unconfirmed). Man Utd have issued a statement playing this down. The man could not be identified, with tight security surrounding his admission – screens from ambulance into A & E and fully covered from head to toe. Matches vs Perth Glory and Leeds expected to go ahead.

Where are Toby and CE going to win things though unless they go to either Real, Barca, City, Liverpool, Juve, Bayern or PSG? No other country will pay them enough and are they willing to go for winnings sake? They’d win stuff at Celtic, Malmo and Quarabag but it’s not exactly a step in the right direction….

Don’t get me wrong…its money too, but I think offering him more is only half the effort.

Plus there is something smelly when Toby is not getting picked up for £25m. I understand CE, but Toby is arguably one of the best CB’s in the world.

I think we’ll bring in some more quality before the window shuts. possibility all if not most poch asked for (Better late than never) challenging hard on the big fronts next season. I’m so relaxed and confident about it. In poch i trust. Its our time again (at last) I can feel glory getting closer. YIDZ.

Also, what do we think is going on with Toby? Allegedly his whole reason for not signing a new contract is because he wanted £175K a week and we were only willing to go to £100-£120K or whatever.
Then we see reports saying that Roma are in for him, will pay the £25m and offer him a £3.5M a year contract. That’s £67K a week and he’ll be swapping the premier league for Italy and the Europa League…..
Surely if said the £100K a week was still on the table he’d want to stay, especially as no one is throwing massive wages at him….?
It’s a bit of a mystery

Sorry pal – that wasn’t actually for you?!

Levy won’t do a loan deal. I think he is more likely to go to Arsenal who are desperate for new blood, and I can’t see us buying him and Lo Celso which is an 80% done deal according to that legendary Spurs expert Alisdair Gold.

I actually thought this might appeal to Levy, get a rent boy in, if any good we get to buy him.

That is because the report is bollocks! I think the real Toby and CE issue is that they want to win stuff and see us as a squad with massive under investment in a league that is very competitive at the top. Spurs have less than 10% chance to win a trophy this season in my view, with about 1% for the CL or PL trophy. We need to invest to change that, but the title will go to City or Liverpool this season. CL will go to spain.

this feels so weird, doesn’t it? A transfer window where we broke our transfer record early in the window and a couple of other high quality linked players that actually feels like they are born of genuine interest and not just paper talk.
I feel optimistic and that’s not normal for me in July

He is the same age as Eriksen with a similar valuation. He has no Premier League experience. Why would we want what is effectively a swap deal? My guess is that Poch’s first choice is Lo Celso but his valuation is unrealistic.

Here we go again with Lo Celso. More dragging on bollox reports. 1 source says its almost done…..too many foreign players for squad regs though so……Toby will definitely be leaving if anymore come in which will be a disaster. Its a striker that’s priority.

There is no way we are going to sign Cabellos ,lo selso and Nbelle in one transfer window. Cabellos will go to the goons, and they will boast about him snubbing us for them. Lo selso is needed, and if Eriksson moved on, then we should get dani olma ,a great prospect.
Or swap erikksen for Isco, if have no problem with that.

Andrew

Also, just how much talking needs to be done before we actually sign a player. I was so happy when Ndombelle signed but now yearn for lo Selso to sign.
Erikksen can piss off, I was so disappointed with his comments.
Levy probably thinks he will build those properties at the same cost as buying a £60 million player.

Would take him on loan if it stopped le arse getting him, agree on Isco ,class player. It looks like our transfer window is decided if Ericson goes which then involves pogba etc etc.

Ceballos for me sounds like he’s our safety net signing.

1) Real may only want him out on loan (not for us)

2) He has stated he wants to make it at Real still (Therefore he may not want to sign permanent anyway)

If Eriksen refuses to sign, and we can’t ship him until the last week of the window, then having Ceballos on retainer as a make do option for a season would be an acceptable alternative i’d imagine. This would give them time to find an permanent able replacement (should other options not materialise this summer.)

Arsenal would be waiting in the wings i’d imagine as they are desperate for cheap reinforcements and would take a loan even if it meant losing him next year.

I’d expect this one to roll until the end of the window unless theres some outright sales and purchases.
