Hojbjerg is not in the same class as Modric or Carrick. Then again, who is? As a defensive midfielder he is good, but I think there are 10 better in the EPL. I wouldn’t say that about Dembele (oh the good old days). For £15m though Hojbjerg is a steal and if you want to play the market he needs selling, he’s worth £35-40m and then using the money to buy better. Kalvin Phillips anyone? Bissouma? £50m would sort either.
Traore is a good sub, how much is a club willing to spend on that? £15m, but Wolves would want a lot more? He kicked the ball out for a goal kick v Man Utd trying a skill under very little pressure the other day, it was comedic, but my God can he run and terrify a defence. His end product is up with Sissoko’s, although the Wolves goal did come from his cross.
Transfer rumours are nonsense, just good fun. I just hope we clear some rubbish out under the radar, just like Sissoko.

Glory Costs Too Much

I see Levy is up to his old tricks again, by which I mean shifting players out first and getting the money in his little mitts before he even thinks of releasing the funds for purchases. All this achieves is to constantly weaken the squad because if we can’t find a replacement then the position doesn’t get filled. It’s a win for Levy as he saves money and avoids getting into costly auctions for the real class players. For us fans it’s a disaster as we never get anyone decent.
Vinicious still needs replacing by the way…
It’s the reason we don’t bid on players like Danny Ings, Ollie Watkins etc. It probably means a last minute punt on some kid requiring a google search to be added to Levy’s long list of flops.
To get top 4 this season we need a striker, playmaker and a RB as a bare minimum. I mean proven players not nobodies who happen to play in those positions. Then a CB in the summer. Without those additions it’s going to be very difficult to avoid the ropey.

Blinking heck Harold – I think I found myself nodding in agreement to everything you said – must have had an Irish car bomb or two myself. Good work, keep it up, it’s good when someone sorts out the wheat from the chaff

In reply to your request for a solution , and as a non sufferer myself but having previous experience with a family member some time ago, I am sure you are aware of Ibuprofen as an excellent pain reliever of the said condition, along with the intake of too much rich food being a cause. I recall having to go out and find some tablets at stupid o’clock in order to help the person concerned, probably wont but hope this is of some use.
He couldn’t do any f*ckin worse
Let AC know. You could replace Doherty as LWB
