Barcelona want Tottenham man if they are unable to land their number one target

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Kane has become a transfer target for Barcelona in the summer if they fail to land Erling Haaland.

The Catalans have held talks with the teenager’s father and agent, Mino Raiola.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has a release clause of less than £70m, but it will only kick in next year.

Dortmund’s current struggles mean they might miss out on playing in the Champions League next season and Haaland would probably not want to stay if that is the case.

The Germans will reportedly ask for around £154m to sell him sooner and Sports via Sun Sports says that fee might be too much for Barcelona to pay.

The Catalans are now looking for alternative strikers to the Norwegian and they have identified Kane as one that can help them get the goals next season.

Kane is at the peak of his career and the striker knows this summer might be his best chance to leave Spurs.

He wants to win the big trophies and the Lilywhites look unlikely to do that anytime soon, but Barcelona probably could.

Daniel Levy is unwilling to sell him and wouldn’t consider selling to a rival, which makes a move to Barcelona more ideal.

That said, if they think Haaland is too expensive then Barca will get a shock if they think they will get Kane for less.

The stadium was for tottenham to have somewhere to live (that earns a few quid) for the next 100 plus years.

Can he stay fit for longer than 2 games at a time? Aguero would make Harry’s injury record inconsequential by comparison.

Would the goals go to being the Premier leagues top ever scorer? He is inline for that record and I’m sure it’s one of his personal targets.

After Bale, I’m uncertain the appetite for a 32-year-old crowd-pleaser exists – I could be wrong of course.

But the truth will be he’s not good enough for City, but would walk into the Spurs first XI.

Maybe Levy will do a deal like he did for Moose, in recognition of Harry’s brilliant service to THFC.
A nice knock down fee of £150m

put it this way Aguero will be in the medics more than his countryman Lamela it is simply the wrong business I believe.

You and I have no say about it, if Levy the smart sees it a good deal consider it done.😂

Whilst 32 yr old Aguero joining Spurs would be a crowd pleaser, coming to the end of his career as was Edgar Davids it’s still a massive tempting risk if it happened!!

That is what Barcelona is saying they know Bale is not coming back in that case they believe they can get a deal with Spurs like Real Madrid and Coutinho had a knee surgery so no team will pay a lot of money for his services therefore Spurs is the only chance they have.

Silly idea, not on your nelly especially as King Kane is irreplaceable and Coutinho is a has been past not present!!

Won’t happen. Levy would demand £150m minimum or £120m and Coutinho.

They saying Coutinho will be included the deal.
