Bale or Bergwijn the big decision that Mourinho has to make today

Jose Mourinho faces a mini selection headache for the game against Crystal Palace this afternoon as Spurs look to retain their position at the top of the standings.

The first dilemma he has to contend with is Serge Aurier, does he start the Ivorian today? I suspect he will, he is in form after all.

The second decision he has to make is Giovani Lo Celso or Tanguy Ndombele. I would be surprised if he actually goes with the Argentine today, he probably needs a rest and Ndombele will be fresh.

The final decision and probably the biggest one is, does he start Gareth Bale or Steven Bergwijn?

To be honest I am not sure at all who he will start out of those two this afternoon at Selhurst Park.

I did a quick search online at some predicted lineups and there does not seem to be a consensus with some pundits going for a Bale start and some going for a Bergwijn start.

Just this morning I read a piece on Football London and Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest have split opinions and so one will have to wait to see who Mourinho will go with.

Knowing the Portuguese as we all do it would not be a massive surprise if he went with Lucas Moura and stumped us all.

That said, I am going with a Bergwijn start, I reckon Mourinho will stick with a winning formula. But that is a pure guess I freely admit.

Still, not a bad position to be in when you have to decide between so many quality players.
