Tottenham’s Alejo Veliz left the stadium on crutches, sporting a brace on his right leg, as reported by Dan Kilpatrick following the 3-1 win against Bournemouth.
The young Argentinean picked up an injury during the match, displaying immense determination despite the pain.
He repeatedly struggled but attempted to stay on the field until collapsing and being unable to continue.
Dan Kilpatrick, the Evening Standard’s Spurs correspondent, suggested Veliz’s injury did not look good as he left the club on crutches with a leg brace on.
He shared the update on X:
“Veliz was seen leaving the stadium on crutches with a brace on his right leg.”

This injury will come as a blow for Ange who is going to be short of attacking options in January.
Heung-min Son has already left for the Asian Cup games and will be unavailable for the next 4 to 5 weeks.
The in-form Richarlison is the only striker they have available now, with Brennan Johnson also versatile enough to play upfront.
They are being linked with another attacker in the upcoming transfer window, with reports suggesting Ange is keen on a left-sided attacker or a centre-forward. Former Celtic man Jota is one of the names strongly linked.
