Aurier’s Younger Brother Shot Twice Outside Toulouse Nightclub And Dies In Hospital

Serge Aurier’s brother was fatally shot twice to the stomach at 5am this morning in Toulous, France according to numerous emerging reports in France, including LaDepeche.

The incident took place outside a night club in the Thibaud area of Toulous. An ambulance attended and took the 26-year-old to Rangueil Teaching Hospital, however the shots proved fatal and the man, believed to be Serge Aurier’s brother died.

Christopher Aurier has made the headlines in the UK before, in 2017 he was arrested in relation to the alleged attempted robbery of a prostitute in Lille.

The Ivorian was a footballer himself, albeit a distinctly unsettled one judging by his CV which includes almost as many clubs as actual performances, which included trials at Brentford in 2011, plus try out spells with Stalybridge Celtic and Belgian fifth-tier side Rebecq.

The killer is still on the loose and one might expect the club to make a formal announcement in due course.
