The gaffer says he has total respect for the Woolwich Wanderers, but his eye is not on teams that are failing, those teams that are beneath him. Sure, it’s a cheap, throwaway remark on the surface, but Mourinho is right. The strategy is to compete with whoever is in front because that is the direction for progress.
Beating Arsenal would be just the kind of result to pep Spurs up and let them have some real belief, opposed to getting excited over beating teams of extremely poor quality.

On another subject. What I thought was just a batsh@t lunatic bint from the green party advocating a 6pm curfew for men for “woman’s safety” has now been discussed by others in the media as a serious matter?!?
These psychopaths need stopping, Lockdowns, curfews, give em an inch and they will take your whole life.
As if a derranged rapist/murderer would say…..”ahhhh, it’s 10 past 6, I fancied a bit of violent assault but it’s past curfew”
These dangerous dictators need removing.
Those lifeless plastic bowls can NEVER produce and conduct the electric atmospheres of Highbury and WHL.
I’ve said it before but it’s truly amazing what has happened to Arsenal since they left Highbury to “progress”. It’s meaningless how posh or expensive your stadium is, or how you have a larger capacity by 150 seats or whatever. Teams win trophys, and clearly if there is extra revenue it doesn’t go into the football for Kroenke or Levy. Both clubs won more 20 plus years ago in their original beloved homes.
hi Harry
i know this has nothing to do with this article but just read a piece(probably rubbish) that mentions Harry Kane is determined to leave at end of season, probably man city
have you heard anything on this?
Classic Mourinho.
There is always a message behind his throwaway lines.
