Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Galatasaray defender linked with a move to Tottenham, Victor Nelsson.
That is according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti who claims that Mikel Arteta wants to sign a new centre-back after the injury to Jurrien Timber and Nelsson is one the players identified by the club.
He further adds that the player has a €25m release clause in his contract.

Nelsson is a player who has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer as well.
In fact, Galatasaray vice president Erden Timur even traveled to London to negotiate a deal for Nelsson.
Tottenham even had a bid of £12.9m plus Davinson Sanchez rejected for him earlier in the summer.
Nelsson himself wanted to sign for Tottenham as reported by Hürriyet last month. The report claimed that the 24-year-old Denmark international told the Turkish club to accept Spurs’ offer.
The links with Nelsson have cooled down after the signing of Micky van de Ven but Spurs still want to sign at least one more centre-back before the window shuts.
They have been linked with the likes of Torino’s Perr Schuurs and Edmond Tapsoba as well as another loan move for Clement Lenglet.
With Arsenal now registering their interest in Nelsson, they have a good chance of securing his signing if Spurs do not make a move quickly.
The player is keen on a move to Premier League and so far only Spurs were interested but after Arsenal’s interest, he could be tempted to join them instead.
