Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozović.
According to a report via Fichajes, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has asked the club to strengthen his squad significantly and he has identified four potential targets.
The report claims that Croatian international Brozovic is on Conte’s radar and the player is likely to cost around €35 million.
The 30-year-old midfielder has a contract with Inter Milan until the summer of 2026 and it will be interesting to see if Spurs can convince the Italian club to sell the player in the upcoming transfer windows.
It is fair to assume that Inter Milan will not want to lose a key player like Brozovic midway through the season, and therefore Tottenham will have to wait until the summer transfer window to sign him.
The Croatian international can operate as a defensive midfielder as well as a central midfielder. He will add some much-needed depth and quality to the Tottenham midfield if the London side manages to secure his signature.
Antonio Conte will be hoping to win major trophies like the Premier League and the Champions League with Tottenham and he will need strength in depth to compete with clubs like Manchester City.
Brozovic is at the peak of his powers right now and he has the talent to succeed in the Premier League. He has already played under the Italian manager and he could be keen on a reunion in England next season.
