The 24-year-old Ecuador international was a key player for Unai Emery last season and it remains to be seen whether the Spanish outfit is prepared to sanction his departure.

Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is reportedly keen to make his loan move with Villarreal permanent, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can use the Argentine in a deal to bring the left-back to the Premier League.

The former Watford defender left without making an appearance in English football, and he could be tempted to prove himself in England next season.

Meanwhile, Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon has been linked with a move away from the club this summer and it appears that the former Real Madrid player is no longer a key part of Conte’s first-team plans.

If he can sort out a summer exit, Tottenham will have to bring in a quality replacement.

Estupinan showed his quality in La Liga and the Champions League last season and he could be a useful option for Tottenham.

The Londoners have been linked with a move for the Middlesbrough right back Djed Spence as well. It seems that they are keen on improving both full-back positions this summer.

Estupinan has been very effective going forward for Villarreal and the likes of Harry Kane could benefit from his impressive passing and crossing ability.
