Another managerial target set to reject Tottenham because he wants to manage a top-four club

Tottenham’s search for a new manager may not end before next season starts as a report has tipped them to miss out on yet another target.

They have met dead-ends in moves for the likes of Antonio Conte and Paulo Fonseca and that could force them to appoint a less successful manager.

Graham Potter isn’t a name that would inspire much confidence from the fans, but they could settle for him just to end their search.

The Sun is, however, reporting that they would also probably meet disappointment in their pursuit of his signature.

The report says the Brighton manager might be too expensive for them to take away from the South Coast.

He has a contract with the Seagulls until 2025 and he would cost Tottenham £15million.

Additionally, it claims that Potter isn’t keen to change clubs just yet and he would prefer to remain with Brighton, better himself and join a top-four club like Liverpool or Manchester City in the future.

Missing out on Potter wouldn’t be good for the Tottenham image and the longer the search for a new manager goes on, the less confident most fans would be in their ability to name a new boss in time for next season.
