Ancelotti to spoil any chance of Tottenham signing Bale again

Gareth Bale is set to be given another lifeline by Carlo Ancelotti next season and that means Tottenham can forget about bringing him back to London even for a temporary spell, reports The Athletic.

The Welshman spent last season on loan at Spurs from Real Madrid.

He moved back to London because he had fallen down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane.

The Frenchman even had problems with the club’s hierarchy because of his stance on Bale.

However, he has since left his position as their manager and has been replaced by Ancelotti.

Ancelotti managed Madrid between 2013 and 2015 previously and he enjoyed a good working relationship with Bale, with both of them winning trophies for the club.

His return to the Madrid hot seat was unexpected, but he knows he has to deliver.

Los Blancos has several players who spent last season out of the club on loan and they would be evaluated by the returning manager.

They don’t have so much money to spend on new transfers and the report says Ancelotti will look at the likes of Bale, Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard to see how they fit into his plans.

The report, however, maintained that the Italian manager doesn’t want to lose Bale and believes that he can help the former Southampton teenage star hit top form again.
