Early Career and Move to Spurs
Lankshear began his career at the Arsenal academy before moving to Sheffield United.
His impressive goal-scoring record at Sheffield United attracted Tottenham’s attention, leading to his signing last summer for a fee potentially rising to £2.5 million, beating out interest from Brentford.
Since joining Tottenham, Lankshear has continued to impress. He made a notable debut for the U18s, scoring a quick-fire brace as a substitute. In the UEFA Youth League, he made headlines by scoring just 46 seconds into a match against Sporting Lisbon.
Lankshear’s standout performances in the recent Premier League 2 season saw him score 23 goals in 23 appearances, including a brace in the play-off final against Sunderland. These performances earned him the league’s Player of the Season title .
