Alasdair Gold expects Tottenham man to push for an exit this January

Tottenham expert Alasdair Gold has claimed that he expects Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to push for an exit in January.

He believes unless Hojbjerg does not force himself into the starting XI between now and January, he will want a move.

He also claimed that Eric Dier will not be going anywhere in January and that he will looking for a free transfer next summer.

Speaking on Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham about the experienced pair, he said:

“I think Hojbjerg, unless he gets back into the team before January, I think he will try to push to leave.

“Other than that, unless there’s someone I’ve forgotten, I don’t think Eric Dier will go, that will be counter-productive for him six months away from getting a free transfer wherever he wants to go.”

Sporting Lisbon are among the clubs reportedly interested in signing Eric Dier, meanwhile Hojbjerg is attracting strong interest from Serie A giants Juventus and La Liga heavyweights Atletico Madrid.

TBH Says:

Tottenham need midfield reinforcements if they want to continue to challenge for the top 4.

They’ll be without Bissouma against Fulham and it will interesting to see how they fate without him and who Ange replaces him with.

Spurs are on a terrific run in the Premier League, having won 6 this season and drawing two.

They currently sit top of the table above Arsenal and Manchester City and are only one of the remaining two unbeaten sides in the league.
