Things are certainly heating up at Tottenham ahead of the club’s Asia Pacific preseason tour, and Ange Postecoglou’s squad is scheduled to fly out this Thursday for what promises to provide a fascinating insight into how the team is going to play under their new head coach. We’ve heard plenty, now let’s see some action.
To date, we’ve seen two much-needed players already arrive; a new goalkeeper and a new attacking midfielder, and it looks as if there could be more to join yet. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealed that there was going to be. slight delay in processing the former Shakhtar/Fulham player.
The ‘deal was never in danger’, and the player would be part of Tottenham, just a week later than originally anticipated.
Sky Sports understands that a medical was scheduled for Manor Solomon yesterday and that the player ought to be announced today.
HH Says: This is a player that has 100% caught my eye. There’s a fizz and a dynamism about the boy that is difficult to ignore.
Presumably at this stage, the idea will be to integrate the player into the squad and then work on the fine-tuning.

Given the dribbling skills and the willingness to get away a shot, even from a little distance, it is likely that the coaches may view Manor as a possible replacement for Lucas Moura. Equally, this is a signing that should encourage Heung-min Son to recover his form next term, as the South Korean looks to shake off his hernia woes.
All things being equal, this looks like a tremendous, ready-to-go bit of business.
