Timo Werner is currently being ‘sold’ to Spurs fans by the usual suspects, and it has been said by one journalist that Ange Postecoglou was instrumental in the loan deal; which is expected to be formally announced in the coming days.
Loaning players of Timo’s age can make them easy targets for naysayers, however, if one is going to loan an aging player who has a track record of failure in the same division, one cannot expect it all to be champagne and chocolates.
