Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored a brace against Everton FC in the north London club’s 5-0 win. Spurs now sit three points away from Arsenal for fourth place, heading into a crucial matchup against Manchester United, who’s fifth place.
This weekend, a win at Old Trafford could see Tottenham leap over The Red Devils, making one less team that can be on their way to that fourth spot. After the win, Kane was asked by Sky Sports how to find that consistency to produce similar results as they did against Everton.
“It is definitely our ambition to get into the top four. We have to be, be consistent, it is important to win games like tonight. We aren’t the finished article yet, but Conte has settled in,” Kane said.
“We’re in a really good place now, there are no excuses from our point of view – we’re in the mix. If we really want to be there, we have to win games like Saturday against Manchester United.”
