Long-serving first-team Tottenham man tipped to leave the club

Football London has tipped Hugo Lloris to leave Tottenham on or before the expiry of his current deal in 2022.

The Frenchman has been at Spurs since 2012 and he remains one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.

He will turn 34 after Christmas this year and although goalkeepers get better with age, he has been tipped to leave.

The report claims that he is unlikely to extend his current deal beyond its current tenure.

The deal runs until 2022 and it claims that Spurs just has next summer to try to cash in on him.

Lloris has been a very reliable servant to the Lilywhites since he joined the club.

He is so trusted that no matter how long he has been out with an injury, he always gets his place back when he returns.

Having won the World Cup with France in 2018, Spurs will hope that he continues to perform fine between the posts for them.

Jose Mourinho has brought in Joe Hart as cover for the Frenchman, but Hart struggled to play while at Burnley and he was likely signed to just help Spurs to meet the homegrown players’ criteria.

It’s all good. We have “Shouty Joe” to step up as #1 and Paolo to be his deputy.

Surely he’d be mad to leave now when we’re finally going to compete? Sounds like newspaper gossip rather then a story.
