Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld continues to go the extra mile to salute and assist the NHS during this demanding Coronavirus crisis.
The Belgian defender previously donated hundreds of tablets to allow hospital patients the chance to video call their families in lockdown.

Now the 31-year-old has surprised a Spurs-supporting NHS worker with a private FaceTime call. Tayla Porter had already gone viral via SPORTBible when her neighbours clapped her off before the start of a shift, and Toby wanted to pay his own tribute including promising to send a signed shirt.
A clearly overjoyed Tayla described it as “the best thing ever”.

Well done to Toby, but well done to Tayla too. She is the real hero here.
Seems like a grounded guy, needs to improve his form though. He was immense for us for over three seasons, the one signing of recent years that really obviously improved us. First name on the team sheet along with Kane for ages.
Not sure Jose’s sit back and defend style suits him, Jan or Davison. They come from Ajax ffs, total football, not total long ball!
Most defenders want to push up and play these days, Toby and Jan were brilliant doing that under Poch for a long time.
Jose is a dinosaur…

Make him the club captain, he is stepping up and showing leadership.
