Transfer insider claims Tottenham “definitely do have an interest” in signing 23-year-old winger

Transfer insider Dean Jones has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur are definitely interested in the signing of Manor Solomon in the upcoming transfer window.

A report from ONE claimed last week that Spurs are in talks with over signing the winger and that the player will be a Tottenham player next season.

The 23-year-old has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham, following his impressive loan spell at Fulham.

Solomon is an exciting winger who has already made a name for himself in the Ukrainian league with Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 23-year-old winger has already made a name for himself in the Ukrainian league with Shakhtar Donetsk, showcasing his skill and ability as a left-winger. With 22 goals and nine assists in 106 appearances for the club, Solomon has proven his potential.

Upon joining Fulham on loan in July 2022, Solomon initially took time to settle into his new surroundings.

However, he quickly found his rhythm and became a key player for the team in the latter part of the season.

And While speaking to GiveMeSport, Dean Jones has now confirmed Spurs’ interest in the player but emphasised that there are still aspects to consider in making him a regular starter.

He said:

“What I say is he hasn’t been a regular, guaranteed starter at Fulham or anything, and there’s still work to be done in terms of making him that player.

“So, I think while Tottenham definitely do have an interest in him here, there are other factors that do need to be weighed into the equation.”

While Fulham would like to secure his services permanently, they face stiff competition from larger Premier League clubs, particularly given that the player is available on a free transfer.
