5 Good Reasons Why Spurs Will Win Tonight

By The Boy -

Tottenham won their two previous encounters with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, it came in last season’s group stages (3-1 at Wembley, 2-1 at the Signal Iduna Park).

Danny Rose is just the latest first team starter to be sidelined, he joins Jane, Dier and Davies. This is a negative, however Spurs’ siege mentality sees them 3rd in Premier League, just 5 points off the leaders, Manchester City.

Eight of Tottenham’s nine goals in the Champions League this season have come in the second-half (89%).

Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund are facing each other for the third time in the last four seasons in European competition. Their head-to-head record is balanced, with two wins each.

All 19 goals scored in the Champions League this season by Tottenham (9) and Borussia Dortmund (10) have come from open play. Which is another plus, as Spurs’ set pieces generally suck.

The bookies agree, with the Lilywhites edging it in the betting 23/20, the away win is 5/2 and you get 12/5 on the draw.

I think it’s like a mission to get there, plus the cold recently, plus people thinking we were moving into the new stadium, and the decrease in the max attendance. But, i do agree with you, maybe they should offer ticket deals or something to get people in. I do know that they are planning on opening the whole capacity for the A%&$£l game..

I’m not sure which was the best one. The bicycle kick from the penalty spot with his right foot. The bullet header from the D or the 30 yard volley with his left foot. 🙂

We’ll draw 1-1 tonight (a first for everything) then beat them with a Harry Hatrick at their ground

I hope I’m wrong but I have a bad feeling that we won’t win tonight or manage to progress to the next round.
It is good though that after today the team have 10 days off. I hope they are given a couple of days to relax or go away, they could certainly do with it.

Equal times. What are the chances of my lady booking us a table at TOTTENHAM snooker club tomorrow.

Worried that Son, Toby and Lamela get booked and automatically miss the second leg also. Lamela nailed on imo, but then again, would we miss him?
