The Times are saying that Crystal Palace have placed a £40 million valuation on Wilfried Zaha in an attempt to deter summer bids from leading Premier League clubs.
“Palace are preparing a contract offer for Zaha that would make him the highest-paid player in the club’s history on £120,000-a-week, but the winger is reluctant to sign given continued interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who visit Selhurst Park tomorrow.
Tottenham made a speculative £12 million bid for Zaha in August and are expected to return with an improved offer this summer.”
