Dane Scarlett is certainly beginning to find his feet at Portsmouth, down in League one. It’s four goals in ten games for the Tottenham boy on loan, and all four have come in the last 6 days.
Playing as a straightforward striker, it looks as if the 18-year-old is making the most of his newfound freedom down on the south coast.
Dane’s contracted to Tottenham until 30/06/2026.
He was in the last chance salon. He went on a number of loans and wasn’t prolific in scoring in much lower divisions. He wasn’t a regular in the loan teams either.
Based on how many of our so called academy players actually make the grade and play for us ?
FYI I worked for the academy, I’ve seen hundreds of Scarlets come and go.
Thats what my comment is based on.
I used to say that about Kane… The Scarlett Pimpernel is on the right track.
What a teats comment …. Based on nothing
why would we cash in when Scarlet is perfectly timed age wise to be a mainstay in the squad at a time when Kane will most likely be playing in the binders league.
don’t let your hate for levy cloud logic
Sad thing is, probably won’t ever make our first 11. Levy will cash in.
Scarlett’s brace against Peterborough were pure class. Leapt like a salmon for the header and then channelled his inner Harry Kane for the second, sweetly struck between the defenders legs. Without getting ahead of ourselves, the boy has a very bright future indeed.
Jesus that mad fakker with the bell is still going ..Captain Scarlett ..excellent.
