Tottenham are looking to sign the Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma during the January transfer window.
According to a report from Daily Mail, the Londoners could sign the 25-year-old La Liga winger on loan this month.
Apparently, the Dutch winger has fallen out with his teammates and the Spanish outfit are prepared to let him leave before the January window closes.
Now the Athletic are reporting that the player has arrived in the United Kingdom to secure a move.
The player has been given permission by Villarreal to hold talks with prospective clubs regarding a loan transfer.
The 25-year-old could prove to be a useful addition to Antonio Conte’s attack during the second half of the season.
Spurs could certainly use more quality and depth in the final third and Danjuma could share the goal-scoring burden with Harry Kane. The Dutchman can play as a centre-forward as well as a winger and his versatility will be an added bonus.
The 25-year-old has 6 goals across all competitions this season and he managed to score 16 goals for the Spanish club last season.
The fact that he is available on loan makes him an inexpensive addition to Tottenham and they should look to do everything in their power to secure his services.
If the 25-year-old manages to impress during his loan spell, Tottenham might have the opportunity to sign him permanently in the summer.
The transfer seems like a no-brainer and Danjuma would certainly boost Tottenham’s chances of securing Champions League qualification.
