25-year-old Tottenham ace ‘expected to leave’, multiple offers on the table

By Saikat -

Manor Solomon is ‘expected to leave’ Tottenham on loan this summer amidst interest from across Europe.

Manor Solomon made the move to Tottenham last summer on the back of an impressive loan spell at Fulham. While he was expected to play an important role in Ange Postecoglou’s team, things didn’t really go according to plan for him in his debut season. He was injured for the majority of the season and could only feature in six matches.

While he still has four years left on his deal with the North London club, the 25-year-old doesn’t seem to be a part of their plans moving forward. Tottenham have added a lot of quality to their attack and Solomon might not get enough minutes even if he manages to stay fit for most parts of the season. As a result, they have decided to send him out on loan.

According to Shay Lugassi, multiple top clubs from across Europe are keen on his signature and the Israeli international has already received an offer from Spanish outfit Getafe. Leeds who compete with the English second division are also interested in the services of the winger.

Two clubs from the English top-flight along with clubs from Italy and Germany are interested in the services of the former Shakhtar Donetsk star. While he is expected to leave the club on a season-long loan, Salomon’s priority is to continue in England which means clubs Getafe and other European clubs are going to find it difficult to convince him about a move.
