21-year-old wants Tottenham exit following January arrival

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club this month.

The 21-year-old has had a tough time at the London club this season, and he has started just twice in the Premier League.

The highly talented winger needs to play more regularly in order to continue his development and fulfil his potential.

It is clear that Tottenham will not be able to provide him with those opportunities and it makes sense for him to leave the club this month. It will be interesting to see whether Tottenham are prepared to let him leave on a loan deal or a permanent deal.

The winger has been linked with a move back to Spain in recent months and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Sevilla are keen on signing him as per Mucho Deporte.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of Arnaut Danjuma from Spanish club Villarreal on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The arrival of the 25-year-old Dutch winger has pushed Gil further down the pecking order and the 21-year-old has decided to secure an exit from the London club before the January window closes as per reports (h/t TBRFootball).

When Spurs signed the 21-year-old from La Liga, he was expected to develop into a key first-team player for the Londoners. However, his development has not gone according to plan because of the lack of regular game time.

Gil is still a young player with a lot of potential and he could develop into a top-class winger in future.
