This will undoubtedly be met with a volley of “why can’t we just have…” which only serves to reinforce the notion that you must never listen to your customers.
Holsten is barely still in circulation, we have to have a spons0r, the only people daft enough to spend ENIC’s valuation of the rights are in the far East, count yourselves lucky it’s only the logo that is red.
This looks to me incredibly nondescript; if anything a bit tired looking, like it’s been in the draw since the early ’90’s.
The fashionistas amongst you will pick up on the self colour weave effect in the shoulders, this is apparently to honour the curly bits in the main gates of the West Stand Car Park.
The hem badge detail is a nod to the sign stuck on the front of the East Stand.
Curiously enough, the training shirt has echoes of the Admiral shirt and looks tidy. A better effort than the home shirt. I expect this may out-sell the home shirt.
The track top is from the same story and again, has that Admiral/Le Coq Sportif vibe that I can see being super commercial.
Last up is the second training shirt that Chadli was sporting recently.
