11 o’clocker Poch Pushing

The January transfer window is always the poor relation. For Tottenham, it’s frequently been the discommunicated second cousin.

We’re in this window (as the a few of the Donna Cullen fed itks have hinted) to sell. A lamentably late strategy from an ownership regime that has consistently done exactly the opposite of what would be good for a football club. Sell the quality, soldier on with the dross.

Word on Snitch Street is that this season’s manager is doing his absolute level best to appease ‘the people upstairs’ and at the same time ship in at least one player that would add to what he is desperately trying to make happen at Spurs.

It was also made clear to me that that business about Levy & Co taking a back seat, in any shape or form is total hogwash.

Who is the mystery man?

Dunno.
