It’s a closely guarded secret in the Tottenham blogosphere, but I am equally quick to praise as I am to damn.

Tottenham have confirmed that the rehabilitation of Harry Winks has now been enhanced and the boy is currently in Doha at Aspetar which is ‘the world’s leading specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, staffed by some of the world’s leading sports medicine practitioners and researchers.’

And that quote comes from FIFA.

Aspetar is the first specialised Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in the Gulf region. It provides the highest possible medical treatment for sports-related injuries in a state-of-the-art facility, staffed by some of the world’s leading sports medicine practitioners and researchers.

It is superb that THFC have Winks over there and getting the very best care available.

One time superstar left-back Danny Rose will miss the 7.45pm kick-off against Manchester City on Saturday night due to a minor calf problem.

Here’s some pre Manchester City Prattle including a beautifully weighted dig at the Spurs Academy… PLEASE wait to hear Donald Trump’s verdict on this all new trailer…

Can’t help but think that Trumps tweet earlier in the week was a pre warning to putin that something was coming. Is it also a coincidence that the military action came on the day his and Cohens lawyers were in court being royaly bent over .I don’t believe for 1 second this was done for the reasons it should have been done, more to cast s shadow over certain leaders incompetences

Tillerson said in January, the US will not tolerate the use of Chemical Weapons in Syria, in a major University address. The purpose of Troops in Syria is to water down the effect of Iran, this in my opinion will become an endless war. The attack in early Feb using F16/F22, Apache and E130 in a 3 hour attack was as much to gauge Russian response as defence of the oilfield, the boundaries had been drawn last year, Russia and America are still in daily contact, the best solution is to bomb the 3 sites near Damascus and Hamas, seriously reduce the Chemical Threat. The in fighting and the dirty War will continue and the solution seems almost impossible.

It is power that corrupts and as they say; absolute power corrupts absolutely

  • Ronwol1960-61 April 13, 2018 at 10:52 am

In most of the middle east they will act like they really care for their peoples but do they? Its mostly about power and holding on to it.
Do we care about their people more than they do? probably not. Thats whole picture is a shame and a sham but thats the way it is.
We just dont want them hurting us.
They are just playing power games with each other while their peoples are pawns.
The west has backed sometimes the best of the two bad choices, yes maybe for their own good (and why not) and sometimes the peoplethey have backed have been worse.
They on the other hand blame the west and Israel for all their problems without taking responsibility for their peoples. They have enough money between them to sort it out but are afraid of peace. They can lose power with peace.
Its a game. And the sufferers are the sufferers.

So Corbyn wants a vote on military action. The reason this has happened is because the Labour Party shamefully changed their mind and voted against action last time. So Obama pulled out and here we are. Presumably Jezza wants to vote again against it so we can normalise gassing children. Now, if this’d been Israel, I wonder would be be quite so queasy…

    • Harry Hotspur April 13, 2018 at 9:28 am

The Labour Party will agree to action – but with the caveat that they want Israeli soldiers to wear dresses on the battlefield

Tbf, polling shows the vast majority of people in the country don’t want to charge into another false-flag war, one that could quickly escalate into ww3. (Btw, Britain is supplying a never-ending conveyor belt of bombs to drop on Arab civilians down the way in yemen. Theresa May cares as much about “the Syrian people” as Blair and Cameron did/do about “the Iraqi people” and “the Libyan people”

      • Matt April 13, 2018 at 10:30 am

Thanks Sexy, I will, though I think the Labour decision before (which wasn’t Corbyn of course) had more to do with politics and optimism than principle.

There is plenty of evidence that points to the rebel’s having been the guilty party to the attack you are talking about, and that is why it was voted down, don’t blame Corbyn for that!

    East Stand
Syria is such a mess, there are about 7-8 different factions including Russia and the US involved.
A whole mishmash of different and often awkward alliances each with their own agenda.
On the one hand, as with Saddam, a brutal dictator is the only way of suppressing the fighting.
In my opinion both Russia and the US want Assad returned to power, possibly with a new ‘cleaner’ figurehead going forward pretending to rule but with Assad pulling the strings.
If you look at how quickly Daesh was taken out once a concerted effort was made to oust them then you tend to wonder if their presence suited Assad.
Russia, the US and the Kurds and anyone wanting Assad back in control needed a reason to reinstall a vicious dictator.
ISIS perfectly filled the role of the ‘worse’ baddie than Assad. They beheaded people on video and dressed in black, Assad wears a Saville Row suit.
The tribes have been fighting for thousands of years, I’m not sure there’s a great deal you can do.
Vicious dictators like Assad and Saddam (often put in power by the West in the first place) are a great excuse for the West to keep intervening in the region.
It’s all about keeping involved so peace in the region would not suit the West at all really. Add the billions of pounds the arms industry makes and no war means no market.
The geopolitical world is a corrupt fucked up place where many innocent men, women and children die or are pawns in the game of powerful concerns.
    Can’t see it fucking changing…

Agree with that but want to point out that ISIS was a creation of the West, maybe indirectly but certainly funding and arms were provided covertly, that is an incontrovertible truth and almost certainly why that US Embassy in Lybia was attacked and the Staff were killed and left without hardly any support.
Another reason for which Clinton should hang, the mess she created for the poor people of that country.
Truly awful, Lybians had the highest standard of living in Africa. Gaddafi predicted that the migrants would flood through his land, which kinda tells me that was the plan all along.
    Lock her up!

We have to “take the bad guys out”, a bunch of mentaly Ill, radicalised loonies from across the globe that didn’t even exist as a force on the ground until about 5-6 years ago.

Poo tin has been prodding & pushing for a couple of years now,for reason only he knows. There should be a genuine apprehension of Russia.Flying in our airspace, submarines & ships in our waters,he knows we are no match for them.

      • Harry Hotspur April 13, 2018 at 9:20 am

My concern with the Russians is that militarily they are almost in a position as crappy as the UK.

Whilst we are superior soldiers, Wembley stadium would be too big to seat all of them. As far as the Russian artillery goes they are a disheveled bunch.

Both powers have fuck all between their mouths and nuclear weapons. Stating the obvious but this could escalate comparatively quickly. Which would be what is known in the trade as a very bad thing.
