It’s been ‘Game Over’ for Mousa Dembele for several seasons now.

Beyond being 32 in July, this dillapidated old war horse has an injury list longer than a particularly long thing.

Maurico Pochettino admits he is worried about Mousa Dembele’s fitness ahead of the must-win Champions League game with PSV.

The big bad Belgian came off after just six minutes of Saturday’s 3-2 win at Wolves with an ankle injury.

Moussa will be assessed before Tuesday’s game, with Spurs third in Group B and needing to win to keep our qualification hopes alive.

“We don’t know but we are a little bit worried,” Pochettino told PA Sport “We need to see because we need to assess him on Monday.

“It will be a shame because we hope it’s not a big issue. It’s very painful now but I hope it’s not a big issue and he can be with the team again soon.”

The truth is, this is player should have exited the club at least one or two windows ago.

Assess him on Monday for what exactly?

I’m wondering if us scoring 3 goals had anything to do with Dembele being off the pitch early?
We all know his fantastic sidewards/backwards passing range could really have kept the scores down.

I would love us to get Loftus cheek. However as much as I despise the rent boys there’s no chance they will help us in any way at all because their chairman/board can see the lunacy of doing it. Ours on the other hand… Besides he would cost money so we are flip anyway. And anyone who thought sissoko played OK???? Sorry he was pants. Offered no cover or assistance to any defenders, made out he was knackered. He’s got more neck than a giraffe wearing sweat bands.

Really is there any point in even playing these fixtures? City 1 up to Southampton and they’ve barely started. All these twit on the radio trying to brainwash everyone into believing Guardiola is the second coming of Shankly and if you don’t love City you don’t Love football. Bollox. Its the opposite. Watching a team with more money than everyone else winning 5/6/7 nil every week is ANTI football and is killing the game. You enjoy that YOU don’t love football Mr radio man you establishment shill.

Football ain’t what we grew up with. And if they manage to sort this super league out, the gap will just continue to grow.

The sad thing is that with his departure from the game Spurs had nobody to shield the middle of the defense, hence the scenes resembling the battle of the Alamo in the second half. I think Winks is very good on the ball but he is not a defensive asset. He needs someone to win the ball and then give it to him, which is why he tends to disappear when the pressure is on. As for those folks lauding Sissoko today they need to watch replays to see what he actually delivered. For sure Poch has got him putting in plenty of effort, which is a huge accomplishment in itself, but he remains one of the least technically gifted players ever to wear a Spurs shirt, plus I saw him completely bottle 3 tackling opportunities. Kante, Kante, my kingdom for a Kante.

Having 3 defensive centre mids injured all at once is pretty unlucky – hopefully Dier will be back for the next game

I’ve seen the future. We didn’t bother with Kovacic, we didn’t get Barkley done. They both went to Chelsea and are ahead of Loftus Cheek.
We will end up with Loftus Cheek. That would be the textbook irony of ENIC FC.

Kovacic is at Chelsea on loan.
Personally I’d love to sign L-C, but Chelsea would never sell to us.

Doucoure would do,but Levy would never spend the money.
I wonder what Levy is thinking about being ignored for the super league if it ever came to pass? All that extra money available and not a sniff of it.
