A funny thing happened on the podcast this week, and I’m not talking about ODM revealing that he frequents an establishment by the name of The Old Queen’s Head, it wasn’t our old producer Robin escaping from Broadmoor to interview Adam Richman …it was Robin’s brilliant analysis of Sherwood’s now much documented post match presser.

Apologies for the occasionally poor quality on the Richman tape. We approached one of his many many agents a year ago this week. A Skype interview was originally arranged about 6 months ago, that was bumped.

In other news, there’s no need to fret over Jan Vertonghen’s body language, improved contract or otherwise. According to The Daily Star, we’ve lined up Valencia’s Jérémy Mathieu, who transfermarkt think is maybe worth €9m. Who’s 30.
The suggestion is that Spurs are trying to make this happen before the world cup.
