One thing for is, Sissoko is improving significantly with every game!

    • caveman September 27, 2017 at 8:26 am

      For sure

      • East Stand September 27, 2017 at 8:51 am

        About facking time.

    • AccringtonSpurs September 27, 2017 at 8:26 am

he was okay last night. HIs west ham performance was much better

      • Pete September 27, 2017 at 8:43 am

Yeh, I was hoping he’d take encouragement from the positive words at the weekend and really step it up last night. Didn’t see it.

    • David Dillenberg September 27, 2017 at 8:29 am

Agreed and unlike Eriksen Sissy can actually make a tackle!
      Davies takes better corners.

Disappointed that KWP has been benched as I would like to see him given an extended run in the side.

        • East Stand September 27, 2017 at 8:54 am

An ‘extended run’ would mean dropping either Davies, Trippier or Oreo a head of him. Do you honestly think that’s realistic unless one gets injured or suspended?

          • caveman September 27, 2017 at 9:08 am

No, but kid may ouster Trippier on the left side as Trippier’s useless on the left.

            • East Stand September 27, 2017 at 9:16 am

Probably why KWP wasn’t sent on loan, I didn’t even know that Tripps could play there. I’m in no rush to see Rose back, rather see KWP play there and see how he gets on….

      Encouraging signs.

    • David Dillenberg September 27, 2017 at 8:38 am

      Improving yes. Significantly ummm!

  • caveman September 27, 2017 at 8:11 am

I still think we’ll get something from the Real M games. Could go far when we get properly into our stride!

  • Camus September 27, 2017 at 8:04 am

    Good morning, all.
So… Top of the Group of Death after 2 matches played.
    Maximum points.
Of course that may change after we face Real twice, but if we wanted a response following last season’s CL debacle, I’d say we’ve had one.

    • Freund or Foe September 27, 2017 at 8:07 am

      Yeah.

  • Freund or Foe September 27, 2017 at 7:49 am

I can’t remember a thing from last night. I think I may have embarrassed myself, my company and my colleagues.
My wallet is soaking wet, and I’ve no idea why.

    • Freund or Foe September 27, 2017 at 7:49 am

      We won though, right?

    • SpurAndy 🍒π September 27, 2017 at 8:10 am

Wouldn’t worry mate, it’s not like you’ve got any history on this. 😂

    • caveman September 27, 2017 at 8:13 am

      How about your trousers?

  • Still Nil Nil September 27, 2017 at 7:41 am

Only caught the second half and thought with not spurs best team, they did ok against an organised albeit ‘strong in the tackle’ type team on a bobbly pitch (yeah I know it’s the same for both teams but they’re used to it) and got a good result.
Lloris made a couple of decent saves, when as a back 3/5 playing high, got caught a few times but when reverting to a back 4 (for this match at that time – I prefer Spurs as a back 3/5) it worked, so hats off to poch for changing it when he did as this nullified the oppos.
I thought sissoko had a decent second half, defending well, intercepted and created, so well done to him.
Son was a bit off the boil but that’s possibly down to lack of game time.
Kane with some cool finishes which he made look easy but weren’t if he’d panicked, winks was tidy and good in possession.
All in all a tricky night with a good result with a team that was missing a couple of our best players.
Games like those in the past would have tripped spurs up.
    Not so last night.
Not all games can be won with a swagger.
    Job done.
    Well done to the squad.

A win against APOEL and a draw against Dortmund and we’re through.

    • AccringtonSpurs September 27, 2017 at 6:06 am

      most likely….

  • mikespurs September 27, 2017 at 3:37 am

Didnt see the game unfort with work. But hat trick harry with a makeshift team do to injur/suspend/illness. Beat them the same as m so whats the prob? Some really dodgy defending?

There’s a great documentary called ‘who owns football?’. Glazers, Sisu etc, whoever. ENIC are the same, in essense. Worth watching.
