We’ve signed Michel Vorm for a fee thought to be worth up to £5m including add-ons.
The former Swansea goalie told De Telegraaf:
Every top club now has two top keepers under contract, it fits in with the policy of a great club to have needed for the various competitions which will be played.”
A thoroughly sound, if not completely electrifying move, by the Pochmeister.
Is he any good? As a back up, I’d say he’s excellent. But this will be significantly dependent upon the antics of the defenders in front of him.
Vorm’s Wiki page says of him: He is renowned for his remarkable penalty saving abilities, earning him the nickname ‘penalty killer.’
