The Ross Barkley saga goes from dull to worse with the news that the 23 year old has returned from a hernia operation, only to pull his hamstring during some light training.
Barkley will now undergo a scan.
Elsewhere, Sanchez to Spurs doesn’t look any closer to conclusion either.
An Ajax spokesman told Sky: “Last year Sanchez signed a five-year contract and we don’t want to let him go. That’s what [sporting director] Marc Overmars has told the player and his agents.
